La dernière chance de Steco
Le 2 mars prochain, les juges du tribunal de commerce d'Orléans se prononceront sur l’unique projet de sauvegarde de l’entreprise. Un plan de continuation proposé par l'actuel président de Steco Power, François Rivière, soutenu par l’ancien actionnaire de la société, un groupe d’assurances alsacien nommé Afi Esca.
Concrètement, le plan prévoit de conserver 121 emplois qui resteront sur le site (il y en a 183 aujourd'hui, mais un plan de licenciements concernant 62 personnes est en cours) et d’injecter 2,5 millions d’euros. Une somme qui permettrait de moderniser l’outil de production et de partager l’activité entre fabrication et négoce.
Basée à Outarville dans le Loiret, Steco Power est en redressement judiciaire depuis mai 2011. En 2010, l’entreprise avait été confrontée à 5 millions d’euros de pertes notamment suite à la fin d’un important contrat avec PSA mais aussi à cause d'une concurrence toujours plus forte venue d'Europe de l’Est.
