Contrôle technique des deux-roues : vers une version réduite en juin 2023 ?
Tout juste un mois après avoir concédé qu'il devrait finir par rendre obligatoire le contrôle technique pour les deux-roues (et autres véhicules de catégorie L), le gouvernement doit désormais en dresser les contours. Car, si le Conseil d'Etat a annulé l'abrogation du décret instaurant cette pratique, il apparaissait illusoire de la voir entrer en vigueur dès le mois de janvier 2023, temps de préparation oblige.
Moins de points de contrôle
Selon l'AFP, qui a consulté une note gouvernementale transmise le 22 novembre aux directions régionales de l'équipement (Dreal), le contrôle technique des deux-roues pourrait être instauré en juin 2023. Et celui-ci serait alors une version "allégée" du contrôle technique que connaissent les voitures. Le nombre de points de contrôle serait réduit de manière significative.
Autre point que nous apprend l'AFP : il y aurait "une mise en œuvre progressive en deux étapes avec un contrôle visuel au départ, puis un contrôle plus étoffé impliquant la prise de quelques mesures en utilisant des matériels dédiés, pour les émissions de polluants notamment". Néanmoins, les concertations sont toujours en cours et "rien n'est stabilisé à ce stade", a rappelé une porte-parole du ministère mercredi.
50 euros maximum ?
La note consultée par l'AFP précise que le gouvernement "travaille en lien avec les fédérations du contrôle technique pour que leur maillage territorial soit suffisamment dense et que les usagers n'aient pas à parcourir une trop longue distance". Par ailleurs, les pouvoirs publics souhaiteraient maintenir le prix du contrôle technique des deux-roues en dessous de la barre des 50 euros.
Enfin, si juin 2023 est évoqué, les gouvernement compterait échelonner dans le temps le passage au contrôle technique des différents véhicules de catégorie L, pour éviter un phénomène d'embouteillage, qui serait suivi d'une période de creux.
