Syrox accélère sa digitalisation avec une nouvelle application
Quelques jours après avoir déployé de nouveaux outils digitaux Standox, Axalta récidive avec l’une de ses autres marques. Le fabricant de peinture a en effet lancé une nouvelle application dédiée à sa marque "secondaire" Syrox. Gratuitement téléchargeable sur les plateformes Apple et Google, elle complète le dispositif Colour Search lancé en même temps que la marque de peinture, en 2017.
La nouvelle application donne accès à cet outil hébergé sur le cloud. Celui-ci compte aujourd’hui plus de 90 000 formules de teintes (contre 70 000 à ses débuts). A partir de sa tablette ou de son smartphone, le peintre peut ainsi accéder aux dernières couleurs de première monte (et à leur variantes) enregistrées sur Colour Search. Les dernières fonctionnalités de cet outil leur sont également ouverte instantanément, via internet.
Course à l’ultra-digitalisation
Cette application simplifie donc l’identification des formules de couleurs et des processus numériques pour les réparateurs. Elle "place directement entre les mains des carrossiers la recherche de teintes et la gestion intégrée des produits basées sur le Cloud afin qu'ils puissent travailler plus facilement et avec plus de précision", affirme Olaf Adamek, directeur d’Axalta Refinish EMEA.
Cette innovation est lancé dans un contexte de course à la digitalisation des carrosseries adossées aux marques de peinture premium. Avec ce nouveau dispositif, Axalta compte vraisemblablement positionner sa marque "B" au sommet de ce segment spécifique.
Tandis que ce type d’applications est désormais commun chez les fabricants de produits de peinture haut de gamme (comme Cromax, Spies Hecker et Standox au sein du groupe Axalta). A ce jeu, les marques "secondaires" adossées à de grands groupes de chimie partiraient donc avec un temps d'avance. Parallèlement, ce lancement est aussi un signe que la digitalisation est de plus en plus accessible, même pour les ateliers réparant les flux de véhicules les moins importants.
